Yong Tau Foo Noodles – Original Recipe
Ingredients
1
100g of chicken fillet, sliced and boiled.

Yong Tau Fu items comprising:
- 1 bitter guard fish cake, cut into halves
- 1 brown tau fu cut into halves
- 2 fishballs, sliced into halves
- 1 fried ngor hiang

2 cups of water.

1 garlic clove, peeled and finely chopped

2 small onions, peeled and sliced.

Small piece of ginger, finely chopped.

1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

100 grams of bee hoon, cooked and drained

Some salt and pepper

Utensils

2 boiling pots.

Frying slice.

Chopping Board.

Knife.

Tablespoon.

Method
1
Cut some chicken fillet meat into cubes.

Chop 2 small onions, 1 clove of garlic and a small piece of ginger.

Heat vegetable oil and fry the onions, garlic and ginger until fragrant and brown.

Add 3 cups of water.

Add the chicken cubes and bring to boil.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Boil some water in a separate bowl.

Add the bee hoon noodles and stir until noodles are cooked.

Drain the noodles and rinse it under cold water and put in a small bowl.

When the chicken soup is boiled add the yong tau foo items and let it boil for another 3 minutes.

Transfer the soup with the yong tau foo items into the bowl of noodles.



Tau Foo Noodles – Modified Recipe
Ingredients

100g of chicken fillet, (minced) and boiled.

Yong Tau Fu items comprising:
- (1 piece of crab meat, chopped into cubes)
- 1 bitter guard fish cake, cut into halves
- 1 brown tau fu cut into halves
- 2 fishballs, sliced into halves
- 1 fried ngor hiang

2 cups of water.

2 small onions, peeled and sliced.

Small piece of ginger, finely chopped.

1 tablespoon of (olive) oil.

100 grams of bee hoon, cooked and drained

(50 grams green chinese lettuce, washed and cuts into small pieces)

(1 stalk spring onion, chopped)

(1 chilli, thinly sliced)
