Reflections:
Today was the 4th homecons practical. For today's practical, we had to modify the recipe of the dish that we made in the 3rd practical exam to make the dish better. I modified the Yong Tau Fu soup with Bee Hoon noodles by using olive oil istead of normal oil,by adding one piece of crab meatand some lettuce leaves, by mincing the chicken meat instead of cutting it into small pieces and also by adding in one stalk of spring onion, one chillie and fried shallots. The lettuce and olive oil helps to make the dish healthier and the crab meat, spring onion, chillie and fried shallots help to improve the taste and appearence of the dish. The dish looked very colourful and appetising and smelled heavenly. It was also very delicious and it is a dish that can be eaten at anytime of the day.
